Armenian Kingdom, also called 'kingdom of Albania', ruled by junior branch of Bagratunis, Kyurikyans. Its capital was originally Samshvile, later Lori (presently Stepanavan in Armenia). The kingdom was founded by the son of Ashot III Gurgen I (or Kyurike I) in 1079. In 1118 area was occupied by Seljuks but local dynasty continued to rule in Maznaberd until XIII century.
