Tarnów County

Tarnów County (Polish: powiat tarnowski ) is a powiat (county) in Poland, in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The county seat is the town of Tarnów and the powiat includes the area around it, but not the city itself which forms its own separate urban powiat. The population numbers 192,998 (2005). Its area is 1413.44 km².
