Target Disk mode

Target Disk mode is a boot mode for Macintosh computers that has the computer behave as a FireWire hard drive. It does not load the operating system. The mode is activated by holding T after powering up the computer. From there it may be connected to any other system via a FireWire cable and it will register as an ordinary hard drive.
