Tareq Rahman

Tareq Rahman is a Bangladeshi politician. He is Second Joint Secretary-General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). Mr. Rahman is a politician from the northern district of Bogra. His mother is Khaleda Zia, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Chairperson of BNP. Tareq Rahman's father was the late President Ziaur Rahman.

While claimed by his supporters to be the inducer of modern thought and fresh blood in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, Tareq Rahman is often alleged by his antagonists to be an extremely corrupt person.There are allegations that he tries to use the power and influence of his mother to achieve financial and political gains.For this, he is often referred to as the "Crown Prince".
