Taradale is a town in the Hawke's Bay region of the North Island of New Zealand. It is located 10 kilometres southwest of the city of Napier, and is often regarded as an outer suburb of the town.

Taradale's population (2001 census) is 9822. A generally affluent area and a place of business, many residents commute to Napier or to Downtown Hastings. As part of its tourist attractions, it contains two wineries, Mission Winery and Church Road Winery. The neighbouring town of Puketapu has more wineries.

Other scenic parts of Taradale include Sugarloaf, the highest hill in the locality, which offers aerial views of the entire Napier-Taradale area, with clear views of the Pacific Ocean and towards the Cape Kidnappers Gannet Colony.
