[edit] Controversy
In 2003, Tara Anglican School for Girls was sued by a 17-year-old girl for breach of duty of care during a 2001 Italy and Greece tour. The student claims that she was gang-raped. (1) The case was settled outside of court and Principal Carol Bowern believes "The school's reputation hasn't been damaged." (2)
