From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

TaoLinux was an open source free GNU/Linux distribution which aimed to be 100% compatible with and based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. On 14th June, 2006, the lead developer announced that he would be retiring from the project and provided instructions for users to point their systems to update servers from CentOS in order to continue receiving updates, effectively converting their TaoLinux installations into CentOS installations.
