Tantrasangraha

Tantrasangraha is an ancient Indian astronomical text written by Nilakantha Somayaji in the year 1500. It is one of the major influences of astromony is India today. Somayaji revised the traditional Indian planetary model. In the Tantrasangraha, Somayaji talked about the lattitude and longitude of the planets, finding new ways to measure them. On March 11 - March 13, 2000, a conference was held to honor the 500th annivesary of the Tantrasangraha.
