Taniquetil
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional world of Middle-earth, Taniquetil (meaning High White Peak in Quenya) is the tallest mountain in Arda on the shores of Valinor and is part of the Pelóri. On its peak rests Ilmarin. It was from here that Manwë and Varda looked out upon all of Arda even to the Gates of Morning.
