[edit] Haunted Barn
Around every Halloween since 1974 the Taneytown Jaycees hold the haunted barn. A scary tour through an old warehouse (The barn was burned down by an arsonist in 1986) the most notable thing about it is that the walk changes every year but it all ends with masked people chasing you with chainsaws.
It has been suspected that the new police station within a few feet of the Haunted Barn caused its closure. The barn did not open in 2005; rumors around the town speculate that the building will be turned into a area recreation center for kids.
