Tammy Lynn Michaels

Tammy Lynn Michaels, also known (after her partner, Melissa Etheridge) by the surname Etheridge [1] (born November 26, 1974, in Lafayette, Indiana) is an American actress.
Tammy was a regular cast member on the television show Popular on the Warner Brothers Network and guest-starred on the Showtime drama, The L Word.
Tammy developed a passion for acting in high school, and after graduating, she moved to New York to pursue it. While working as a waitress at a restaurant she was discovered by a talent scout.
After moving to Los Angeles, Michaels landed the role on Popular. In 2005, she played the character Tess on the NBC series Committed.
Michaels is openly gay and a well-known lesbian figure, exchanging vows in a commitment ceremony with popular singer Melissa Etheridge on September 22, 2003. In April 2006, the couple announced that Michaels was pregnant with twins with help from an anonymous donor. Michaels gave birth to a son Miller Steven and a daughter Johnnie Rose on October 17, 2006.
