Tame Head (magic)

Tame Head (magic) is also known as Gong Tau (Chinese Hokkien: 降头). Tame Head (magic) exist in Africa, South & Central America and other countries. In Southeast Asia, it is known as Gong Tau. It is a type of black magic, traditionally practised in Southeast Asia. The Gong Tau of Southeast Asia is believed originated from Yunnan and Sichuan of China. To cast an evil spell or curse someone is called Luk Gong Tau (Chinese Hokkien: 下降头) and usually it was done by the Gong Tau Su (Master of Gong Tau). The Master of Gong Tau has to take risk when cast the evil spell on the targeted person, otherwise he/she will be suffered in reverse.
The Voodoo Doll (still popular in modern days) is the material used to cast a magic spell. Customers buy a doll (or create yourself), attach a piece of paper bearing the name of their enemy to the doll and then stab away. Voodoo Dolls by Quindlen Krovatin
