Tamaraikulampathi

Located in southern India, Tamaraikulampathi is a holy site for the people of Ayyavazhi and one among the Panchappathis, which is situated 6 km north-west to Kanyakumari.

Tamaraikulampathi is the place where Hari Gopalan Citar composed the holy book of Ayyavazhi, Akilattirattu Ammanai. In remembrance to that even today during the Thiru Edu-Vasippu in Swamithoppe, the Moolatthiru Edu is read in Tamaraikulampathi for seven days and brought to Swamithoppepathi and read for seventeen days, and after the completion again taken to Tamaraikulampathi for a further ten days of reading.
