Tanya Goodin is a British businesswoman and founder of Tamar.com. She was educated at Christ's Hospital School[5] and Brasenose College, Oxford from which she holds a degree in English Literature. She is married with a young daughter and son and lives in London and north Norfolk.

Whilst at Oxford Tanya was Chairman of Council of Management of Cherwell, the Oxford University newspaper, and also founded a successful national UK student publishing venture jointly with renowned British journalist Christina Lamb. Leaving Oxford she started her career in advertising at agency J Walter Thompson (now part of the WPP Group) leaving there to become the youngest-ever Publishing Director of Campaign magazine at Haymarket Group, started by Michael Heseltine.

A career in related roles in media led Tanya to found Tamar.com in the UK in 1995, 2 years after CERN announced the 'launch' of the free World Wide Web, the same year as Amazon.com but 3 years before Google.

Tanya is a member of London's women's networking club - the Kit-Cat Club and was a cousin, through the Leach family, of the actor Cary Grant (real name Archibald Leach).
