Talvik

Talvik is a former municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. Originally a part of Alta formannskapsdistrikt, Talvik became a separate municipality in 1863 with 1 938 inhabitants.

On January 1, 1964 Talvik was reunited with Alta, at which point Talvik had a population of 3 266.
