Talland
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Talland is a small hamlet in the civil parish of Lansallos on the south-east coast of Cornwall, UK, between Looe and Polperro. To the north is Pelynt.
Talland is named after Saint Tallanus, a hermit who made his home there in the Fifth Century. The altar of the present-day church is situated on the site of the original Celtic altar. The church is also unusual in having a detached bell tower.
There are several small beaches in Talland Bay, served by a small car park and café.
