Talking Cock the Movie

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Talking Cock the Movie is a Singapore movie released in May 2002. It is the brainchild of Colin Goh, founder of Singaporean website, TalkingCock.com, which satirises local current affairs and politics, highlighting the importance of supporting free speech in Singapore.

The movie stars non-professional locals plucked from the heartland, in several scenes depicting the lives of exaggerated stereotype characters of the heartland, such as a drunkard, a loan shark family, a chinese bun hawker, a dirty-minded old man, a rock band-turned-boy band, and the "Turbanator".
