Talk:Talequani Heshmat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have a book by Miras Farhangi which says he was buried in "Imamzadeh Saleh" in Tehran.--Zereshk 02:34, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

  • Fakhrayi's account seems more detailed and accurate than that, I would go by it. Also, it must be easy to further clarify; I will ask contacts in Iran to check with locals (I excpect the tomb to be a well known place, as the linked "Mirsse Farhangi" site states too). I already went there. Nobody (not even the negahbans) knew what people were buried in the old cemetery at the Imamzadeh. But Im not lying to you. It really does say he was buried there. Which is why I became curious.--Zereshk 07:01, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
  • Finally I got it right and accurate through both local contacts and a reference. BTW, there are 2 pages on Dr. Heshmat (Talequani Heshmat, and one with errors Dr Taleqani Heshmat). I recommend to merge the second one in the first one but change the name to "Dr. Heshmat Taleghani". Reagards Gmotamedi 22:35, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Merge them.--Zereshk 22:37, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Merging looks good to me, but if I'm not mistaken, doctoral degrees usually are not part of page names. By the way, is there some sort of reference for the transliteration of his name? --Huon 12:40, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Something does not make sense here. While Reza Shah was responsible for putting down the Jangali movement, he could not have been responsible for execution of Dr. Heshmat in 1919 as the king. He led his coup against Ahmad Shah in 1921 and did not ascend the throne until 1923. I am editing this section for historical inaccuracy. --mrjahan Nov. 6, 2006.
