- I've removed this sentence from the article: "Talbot was the family name of the English Earls of Shrewsbury." I can see how this might be related to the breed (perhaps they were first bred by the Talbot family) but the article does not make that explicit and I am not knowledgable enough to make that logical leap on the article page.
