Talitha MacKenzie

Talitha MacKenzie (born in the 1950s in New York) is a Celtic folk/world musician who became known in association with Mouth Music.
She trained piano as a teen and taught herself the Scottish Gaelic language in her teens. She went on to study ethnomusicology at the New England Conservatory of Music. She later moved to Scotland. After success with Mouth Music she moved on to a solo career with the album Solas doing well on the world music charts. Although most associated with Celtic music, she also does songs based on French and Eastern European styles.[1]
