Taiwan Power Company

The Taiwan Power Company (Taipower)[1] is a state-owned electric power utility. In 1994 a measure which allowed independent power producers (IPP's) to provide up to 20 percent of Taiwan's electricity should have lead to an end of the monopoly. [2]
