Taigum is a northern suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is about 13 kilometres north of the CBD. It is predominantly a residential area. The suburb contains a Centro shopping centre.
The Taigum area was first developed around 1891, as part of a subdivision of the Nundah Divisional board. In 1901, it was suggested, unsuccessfully, by the board that the name be changed to "Tyghum Divisional Board". Over 38% of households in this area are couples with children, 40% are of couples without children and 18% are single parent households. Over 61% of residential development are houses and another 25% are townhouses.
