Tad Danielewski

Tad Danielewski (19211993) was a film director. Originally from Poland, he served in the Polish Underground during World War II and eventually ended up in a concentration camp. After the war, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and started the Professional Actors Workshop in New York. He is the father of Ann Danielewski (commonly known as the musician Poe) and Mark Z. Danielewski, author of House of Leaves and Only Revolutions.

He died of cancer in 1993.
