I love seeing that little bar that says "You have new messages."
I do ask that you follow some guidelines when leaving me a message:
1. Please be civil.
2. While I appreciate barnstars, smileys, and similar awards, please do not fill my talk page with images. I find excessive use of images on my talk page to be rather distracting, as they tend to obscure the actual messages. In addition, I travel a lot, and I'm not always able to obtain a broadband internet connection. Having lots of images on my talk page becomes very inconvenient at times like that.
3. If I am not directly involved in a conversation, please keep your comments to your respective talk pages. Failing to do so may be seen as vandalism, and dealt with accordingly.
4. If you have said something on this page that you shouldn't have, and I have already read the message, don't try to delete it or hide it. It will still be present in the page history, and I will surely find out. Trying to delete or hide comments after I have seen them is like trying to hide evidence that others have already seen, and it suggests that you are being less than honest.
5. Please sign your messages by typing ~~~~ or by using the edit toolbar. The automated signature button is the one to the right of the crossed out "W".
If I feel that a response is needed, I will do my best to reply within 24 hours. If you expect a response and you haven't heard from me, please tell me.
Please understand if I do not respond immediately. Also please be understanding if I do not answer your message in the order that it was received.
I will ordinarily answer on your talk page, unless requested to do otherwise. Thank you!

[edit] You helped choose Cactus as this week's WP:AID winner
MER-C 03:23, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- Cactus are sticky and live in dry environments. That should be your contrib. Just kidding. Bearly541 05:43, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] user page(s)
Wow, I really like your personal page. The styling and the colors are very pleasing. ... aa:talk 09:20, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I too like it. Very clean and retaining all that was there before... Very serene. Your pages are always very caling but you out did yourself this time. LOVE IT! —¡Randfan! 16:18, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I would tell you ow to do the show/hde thing, but I don't know how. You might want to ask Seadog, he seems to have that in use for his userpage. Cheers! —¡Randfan! 16:27, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have the tRNA picture becuase I like how it looks... But lots of people (actually only oneother :)) have been asking why I have it, so I'll probably remove it. —¡Randfan! 16:32, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Your userpage looks much better than it ever has before. Good job and very creative.--Seadog ♪ 18:01, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] link to it
I made a redirect to your page via user:Kyoko and to your talk page via user talk:Kyoko. —¡Randfan! 21:38, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
-
- I don't think so... I'll try to create an account under the name, if you want me to. I think it's just like another redirect, it goes to another page but is technically a page in its own and therefore can't be duplicated. —¡Randfan! 21:45, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- I can't create a user under that name so you are imposter free. Also, in your sig. you can shorten it by making "Kyoko" replace "Tachikoma". —¡Randfan! 21:50, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry... Well maybe you can switch it around...
[edit] my talk page/tRNA
For some reason, every time I try to remove the picture the list of B-days/Adminship Anniversaries/First Edit Days moves over. Is there any way to keep it where it is and still remove the piture? As you can see if you edit the page,I'mnot the best coder. —¡Randfan! 16:54, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- It's okay now. Thanks for the advise but I replaced it ith Eraser Buddy, for a reason unknown to me. —¡Randfan! 14:45, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your barnstar
I was thinking the same... So do you want the flower in the background to be traced? And with what colours? Actually, just tell me everything that you want... Cheers and it's your barnstar so we want youto like it! —¡Randfan! 21:33, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- The big purple one in the background? It was purple (of course. By the way, do you want it very purpley or slightly or not or somewhere else?)and was remotely star-shaped. I was thinking about that being the star, actually. I don't know if this is a good enough discription so tell me if you want more. Hope your happy by the end and thanks for your comments. —¡Randfan! 21:42, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- What kind of border? What colour, I think we shouldn't do purple- it might seem over-used... Maybe light blue or light green? Those are kind of calming and change things around a little. —¡Randfan! 21:50, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Do you want the foilage around it also? You can see a little in the other one. Sorry if I'm sounding hurried, I got to go but will be back on real soon. —¡Randfan! 21:52, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have returned and do you want it to say "Kyoko" or something like that? —¡Randfan! 22:14, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay. (Don't respond to this unless you have time) :) —¡Randfan! 22:20, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Some options, ma'am. :) —¡Randfan! 23:32, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

- Stopped by your user page and noticed the message, thought I'd join in. I'll be sending happy thoughts your way... :) Fvasconcellos 14:28, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Of course I don't "mind"! I hope you're doing better yourself, and I hope Wikipedia can be a sort of "safe haven" for you if you'd like it to be so — it shouldn't keep reminding you of things you probably want to let go of. Fvasconcellos 15:01, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
GOOD LUCK!!!! May I ask what your job is?--Chili 01:21, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Good luck with returning to work! I really think it's a move in the right direction :) Take care, and my wishes are with you. riana_dzasta 04:52, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- That's good to know. Do you have to work weekends as well, or are you done for the week? riana_dzasta 15:20, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- It's very early Saturday morning here :) Which tells me that I should go to bed... but probably won't! riana_dzasta 15:29, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
I'm glad to hear your first day went reasonably well... I hope things just keep getting better! ^_^ — Editor at Large(speak) 17:52, 8 December 2006 (UTC) P.S. replied to your e-mail, thanks!
[edit] Re:Barnstar feedback, work
You can mix and match the styles if you want and I don't know how to lighten the background foliage (but I'll try to find someone who can), so I'll do my best. Next, if you do want to have the star outlined, in what colour?
About your work, I'm truly sorry for you. I really can't respond with any more depth than that because I don't know what it's like. But I imagine it is very hard and I truly do feel for you. I hope things get better very, very soon and if there's anything I can do, I'd be more than happyto assist. —¡Randfan! 18:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- No, it's no trouble at all, I just have to figure out how :). Maybe I can "age" it or fade it. Seriously, I do hope things get better. —¡Randfan! 21:36, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- It would help if I could find someone who was professionally trained to do this, but when I figure it out, I will to the best of my abilities. :). Cheers! —¡Randfan! 00:54, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
-
- I think so... Do you want a different border, by the way, or are you 100% happy with this one? Good night (not only as a leaving note from mebut wishing you a nice sleep)! —¡Randfan! 01:07, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Aw, Kyoko, you just made me happy cry! You've Got Mail is my favourite romantic comedy, that brings back memories... heh, I smiled. Improvement, no?
Thanks for adding me to the alerts page. I really don't like adding myself, but I haven't been around for a while and I want people to know that I'm not just ignoring them. Again, thanks a bunch. — Editor at Large(speak) 18:04, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hey. I just wanted to say thanks for your messages, I really appreciate them. Just please don't worry too much about me; your going back to work is the most important thing right now. Take care of yourself first, please. Just knowing that you're thinking of me helps enormously, and I know that I can e-mail or message you if things get worse.
- I really appreciate all your help, Kyoko, I honestly can't thank you enough for that. All my love, — Editor at Large(speak) 04:47, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I noticed your kindness towards Editor at Large at her talk page, despite the endless threads of messages some other users are leaving there. =) In appreciation, I thank you with the my own personal kindness award of the Crème brûlée.--Ed ¿Cómo estás? 00:53, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

The Kindness Award of Ed |
This Wikipedian has received the Kindness Award from Ed for going the extra mile to be kind to another person. Kindness is important so that there may be an improved sense of community here on Wikipedia. As a reward, I offer this user a random piece of food. (I will never give the same food item out twice, so don't be jealous.) You may read a nice story on kindness over here. Thanks again! --Ed ¿Cómo estás? 00:53, 9 December 2006 (UTC) |
Bushcarrot has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Smile at others by adding {{subst:smile}}, {{subst:smile2}} or {{subst:smile3}} to their talk page with a friendly message. Happy editing!
I hope you do well back to work. You seem to be a very kind person, which is rare these days. :D

[edit] Work/Medication
If I may ask, what is the medicine you take that is unavailable in Canada? I'd like to have a job in the arts too, most namely in music, but my parents want me to become a doctor... *sigh* It's not easy being me. (Yes, I know I'm a stalker :P) ♥ Fredil 04:06, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- Nevermind – I don't read enough. ♥ Fredil 04:07, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- It's beautiful. Quite literally. How do you like my poem? I should be doing work right now, but the website for the webquest is down, so... ♥ Fredil 15:06, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- Constructive criticism is good. I don't mind, and I will certainly take your ideas into consideration. ♥ Fredil 15:32, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

For your help on the Transplantation template I set up. I'm still not very good with these and I appreciate all help I can get setting these up. Thanks. Remember 21:07, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Get Well Wishes
Hey Kyoko, thanks very much for the get well wishes. It seems like we only talk when one of us is ill, which is a shame, because it's great to hear from you. You're always thoughtful and kind with your words, and I would like to thank you for that :) Thanks Kyoko.

Hello, Kyoko, I hope you're feeling O.K. Just dropping you a note to say that you should probably check the edit history of Orfeo - I said something fairly important in an edit summary that you should know if you don't already. It's in caps, so you can't miss it:) Cheers, Moreschi 18:40, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Take care and enjoy your break!
Hey Kyoko! I wanted to drop by to wish you all the best during your Wikibreak. I agree most definitely that it will help; right now your personal life is the important thing, and if Wikipedia stress is interfering you need to stay away from it for a while. I hope things go well for you in real life... take care, and let me know how things are going!
All my love, — Editor at Large(speak) 21:44, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hope you feel better soon! Just take it easy for a little while and you'll be fine, I'm sure! Cheers! —¡Randfan! 01:27, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
