Tacoma School of the Arts

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Tacoma School of the Arts is the only arts school in the greater Tacoma area. It attracts students from as far away as Olympia. SOTA, as it is commonly called (for School of the Arts) accepts students for their last three years of high school only, excluding the usual first year at American high schools, 9th grade (called Freshman Year), which students must complete at another school. It began in the fall of 2001.
