Tab may refer to:

  • The tab key, used to indent text to a preset horizontal position.
  • In organizing, a short form of Chicago tab, a protruding piece of card or paper that provides an index mark in a paper or card file,
    • Tab (GUI) is a similar visual marker in computer applications.
  • In hospitality and other contexts where payment is due, a synonym for the bill ("he picked up the tab").
  • tab, short for the tabloid newspaper format, the size of the New York Daily News and other big city papers. A tabloid newspaper is roughly 11 inches wide and 14 inches high.
  • Tab Ramos, former American soccer player.
  • tab (comic strip), the size of a Sunday strip carried in a tabloid newspaper. Tab strips are often preferred by collectors of such strips as Dick Tracy and Little Orphan Annie.
