Ta'Qali
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ta'Qali is a village in Malta, situated 2km from Mdina. Shortly before World War II, the area was used to build a military aerodrome and a station for the RAF. Today, many of the military huts and buildings have been converted into workshops where Maltese craftsmen produce their handiwork. Ta'Qali is also a popular recreation and sport area and includes the national stadium, running tracks, a Greek theatre and covered pavilions for indoor sports.
