T. Franklin Ahearn

T. Franklin Ahearn (Thomas Franklin Ahearn) or Frank Ahearn (born May 10, 1886 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, died November 17, 1962) was an owner of the Ottawa Senators hockey club from 1925-26 to 1933-34 and the St. Louis Eagles hockey club in 1935-36. In the years of his owning the Ottawa Senators, he losses were over $200,000, a loss he said he never regretted.

He was the son of Thomas Ahearn, a prominent Ottawa citizen who served in parliament and owned Ottawa Electric and the famous Ottawa Electric Streetcar Line.

Like his father, Ahearn was involved in Canadian politics, and was elected to the House of Commons in 1930 and 1935.

He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1962.
