T'Mir
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A fictional character from the TV series Star Trek: Enterprise.
T'Mir was a Vulcan explorer who crash-landed on Earth during the second half on the 20th century.
In the Star Trek: Enterprise episode entitled "Carbon Creek," T'Mir's made an emergency landing on the outskirts of a small town in the United States known as Carbon Creek, Pennsylvania. T'Mir and her fellow crewmembers had been investigating the inhabitants of Earth, a pre-warp civilization, who had just launched their first artificial satellite (Sputnik) into orbit. While on Earth, T'Mir and her crewmates not only live among Humans, but T'Mir changes the development of Earth society by selling a sample of Velcro to help a boy she met, Jack, go to college. About four months after their unexpected crash on Earth, T'Mir and her remaining crewmate Stron are rescued by another Vulcan ship, although it is implied that one of them may have remained behind.
The ending of the episode has T'Pol implying she made the whole story up, however she gives Archer no solid answer on if the tale was true.
