[edit] Copyvio Issue

I saw that a copyvio tag was placed on this article on the 17:35, 23 August 2006 edit. I have a couple issues with how this was handled:

• Was the link: http://www.brian-oshaughnessy.com/resident-evil/t.html ever working?
• Why wasn't the procedure at Wikipedia:Copyright_problems followed. In particular:
  • Why wasn't the page blanked?
  • Why wasn't the page started anew at Talk:T-Veronica/Temp?
  • Why was the page restored before the administrators deleted it and copied the page at Talk:T-Veronica/Temp to T-Veronica?

Is there a real copyvio issue here or was it just a mistake?--Burzum 22:10, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

It was working at one point, but we later discovered that Brian O'Shaughnessy was an editor on WP, and actually copied the material from this article onto his webpage. The Page wasn't blantantly because we weren't sure if it the original author of this article actually plagiarized the text from Brian's website. --ShadowJester07 23:14, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
