TЯAPT is a PlayStation 2 real time action/strategy game by Tecmo. The game uses a number of features that Deception, an earlier title from Tecmo, uses.

The player assumes the role of Princess Allura, who has been framed for the murder of her father, King Olaf. On the night of the king's murder, Allura is accused of killing her father from the words of her stepmother Catalina. With the help from her friend Rachel, Allura is able to escape into the forest. On the run from assassins, she acquires the ability to set violent and lethal traps, which are the only means she has of defending herself from her pursuers. Each character in the game has a unique death scene.

As the player defeats enemies, they are awarded with "warl" to be able to craft new weapons. The weapons consists of three different positions in a room, wall, ceiling, and floor. For each type of weapon, the player is given the option to choose up to three different weapons to take into each mission.

The players of TЯAPT mainly play as Allura, the daughter of the recently deceased King. The cast of characters in TЯAPT consist of a number of enemies along with a few allies.

Main character in the story. After the events of her father's death, she is accused of murdering him. Gaining the power to use trapts, she begins eliminating her enemies. Many intruders that are fought believe the accusation that she murdered her father and believe she is a trator.

Allura's maid and friend, Rachel cares greatly for Allura. Willing to aid Allura with fleeing, Catalina orders that she is to be hunted too. She is very close to Allura, and seems more like family than a friend.

One of the antagonists in the game, Catalina is the cold and heartless stepmother of Allura. With the longing Olaf has for his previous wife, Catalina becomes intimidated of her. She also becomes angered at the fact that Allura will not accept her as a mother.
