Těrlicko

Těrlicko (Polish: Cierlicko) is a village in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 4,100 inhabitants.
The village consists from administrative parts (formerly independent villages) Dolní Těrlicko, Horní Těrlicko and Hradiště.
First written record comes from 1229. In 1863 the settlement was split into two villages Dolní (lower) and Horní (upper) Těrlicko. After WWII a dam (with area 2.77 km²) was built just below the village.
