Télé-université

Télé-université is a component of the University of Quebec at Montreal. Sometimes abbreviated to Téluq, it was the first French language distance education university in the world and the only one in North America before it became a component of UQAM in June 2005.
With approximately 50 professors, Téluq has a number of courses and degrees in computer science, education, communication, environmental sciences, and management. Télé-université has 3 Canada Research Chairs and one Bell Research Chair: research topics range from Computer Science to Management.
Télé-université is a partner with the Canadian Virtual University.
