The model for the image is a medieval cross that is located in the Täby municipality near a church. It is ineligible for copyright, but the use of this image with the shape and colours are probably restricted as being an official coat of arms and registered as such in Sweden.

Even if the design is free to use (per the license), it is not permitted to use in such a way that implies it is being supported by the municipality or county, respecively, for example in part of trademarks or other commercial products. This requires permission of the municipality or county council. According to laws SFS 1970:498 and 1976:100.
