Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Jagadalpur

The Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Jagadalpur came into existence when in 1977 it was raised to a diocese by Pope Paul VI by the Bull "Nobismetipsis" of February 26, Rt. Rev. Simon Stock Palathra CMI was ordained and installed Bishop of Jagdalpur.
