Symbiosis Society's Law College

Symbiosis Society's Law College established in 1971 is one of the premier institutes imparting legal education in India. It was ranked 3rd by India Today magazine in 2005. It is known for its interactive curriculum, rigorous academics, mooting activities and lectures by distinguished personalities. It also has a number of active society's like the Human Rights Cell (HRC) and the Environment and Consumer Protection Organization (ECOCON) which carry out projects like field research and spreading of legal awareness. The college has continuously encouraged it's students to fight for the cause of the social justice. Few of its notable achievements have been moving the High Court of Bombay for making helmets compulsory for two wheeler riders in the state of Maharashtra, raising the issue of security lapses and negligence on the part of the state railway authorities, bringing to the notice of the High Court of Bombay the miserable state of the Consumer Protection Forum at Pune as so on. Students are admitted through an all India entrance test.
