I am revising the paragraph relating to Stallone's pornographic history. Fans of Stallone get very sensitive when discussing this film, but a fact is a fact, and the movie was pornographic. Referring to it as porn in one sentence and then stating that it "showed genitals" in the next is redundant and the fact that Stallone has unusually small genitals is irrelevant. A dark site claiming to be the "church of stallone" and no content for even its FAQ much less events or other items, does not deserve a link on wikipedia at all, much less the indicator "Official Site". It might be someone's Rambo idea of a fan site, but even for such a thing it's very poor. Sylvester Stllone's personal site is the very obvious and guessable: http://www.sylvesterstallone.com/. -- User:Starshine Sat 10 Dec 2005 11:51 Pacific

[edit] Draft Dodger

I read that Stallone evaded the Vietnam war draft in the 1960's by moving to Switzerland. [1] (near bottom of page). Does anyone know if this is true? Adam Haaretz

Yes this is true. It's funny how draft dodger Stallone went on to make the gung-ho Rambo movies in the conservative 80s, and was received at the White House by President Reagan.

There was an amnesty for draft dodgers and i don't blame him, he wouldn't have been fighting for his country in Vietnam because it posed no threat to the U.S. he was smart to get away to a neutral country

The little prick shouldn't have played a Vietnam War hero on screen if he felt that strongly about it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.93.21.73 (talkcontribs) 00:11, July 11, 2006.

[edit] His birthday

I heard on the radio yesterday and today that his 60th birthday was yesterday, so June 6th, not July 6th. What's that confusion? When is his birthday? Are there references that state it's July and others that state June. If that's the case, that should probably be mentioned in the article. Does anybody know more about this? BigBen212 15:08, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Maybe he just wanted to celebrate his birthday earlier?

Sylveser Stallone was born on July 6, 1946, the same day as President George W. Bush. Actually, Stallone is one of Bush's two favorite actors. Bcody 15:29, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stallone writing Rocky?

The claims made in this article border on the incredible, anyone got a source for this? Stevage 14:12, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Maybe this one? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075148/ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Paolo V. (talk • contribs).
Many articles confirm that this script was written in three days, but I can't find anything that says he painted his windows black, so I'll remove that for now. --Daniel Olsen 23:38, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Personal Life Section

Stallone is listed as a Jewish-American actor. This is somewhat true as his mother has some Jewish heritage. Stallone, however, is a self-avowed catholic, as other pages (and wikipedia) attest:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Catholic_American_entertainers http://www.adherents.com/people/ps/Sylvester_Stallone.html

etc. Please revise.

[edit] Tobacco Document

There was an image of a "tobacco document" embedded in this article which appears to be an agreement to show certain tobacco products in the Rocky films. While that's fine and dandy, this image really needs some explanation—it's not a photo or other generic, easily-identifiable image. Please add some background if you add the image again.
