Sylvia Pogorzelski

Sylvia Carolina Pogorzelski is a beauty queen from East Hanover, New Jersey who has competed in the Miss USA pageant.
Pogorzelski won the Miss New Jersey USA 2005 title in a state pageant held in Parsippany, New Jersey on 31 October 2004.[1] It was her first attempt at the title, although she had previously competed in a Miss Polonia pageant in Chicago.[2]
Pogorzelski represented New Jersey in the Miss USA 2005 pageant broadcast live from Baltimore, Maryland in April 2005. She did not place in the nationally televised pageant, which was won by Chelsea Cooley of North Carolina.
In late 2005, Pogorzelski passed on her crown to Jessica Boyington of Sicklerville. Boyington placed first runner-up to Pogorzelski in the 2005 event.
Pogorzelski graduated from Hanover Park High School in 2003 and has studied business administration at Seton Hall University.[3]
