[edit] Projects

  • Sylpheed's classic branch focuses on stability. It is maintained by Sylpheed's founder Hiroyuki Yamamoto.
  • The extended Sylpheed-Claws branch offers a slew of extra features, like scoring, QuickSearch, Aspell spell checker support, user-defined Actions, plugins for SpamAssassin, ClamAV anti-virus software, Dillo web browser, and a lot more; as both projects differences grew, Sylpheed-Claws has been renamed Claws Mail.
  • Documentation for Sylpheed is worked on in an additional multilingual project.
