Sylfest Glimsdal (born October 9, 1966 in Fagernes). Is a former Norwegian biathlete. In the 1991/92 season he came behind Jon Åge Tyldum and Mikael Löfgren. Third in the overall World Cup standings. in the 1989 World Championship in Feistritz he won bronze medal with the norwegian relay team. In 1998 he ended his career as biathlete
