Sydney Sandpipers

The Sydney Sandpipers were an inaugural team in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy, Australia's national women's netball league. Their strip was vivid sky blue and they were based at University of Sydney. The team competed from 1997 to 2003, after which the Sydney Swifts were left as the only New South Wales team. Regular faces in the line up were Jo Morgan, Natalie Avellino, Katrina McCaffrey, Allison Tucker, and Monia Gerrard.
