Sydney Ling (b. November 20, 1959, Netherlands) is an entrepreneur and film director. He has featured in the Guiness Book of Records as the youngest ever producer, director and writer of a professional full-length feature film for his production of Lex, the Wonder Dog at the age of 13[1]. He also currently holds, as of 1996, the record for the longest film documentary Grandmother Martha, featuring his grandmother actress Martha Stelloo, 24 hours and 12 minutes in length[2]
He has primarily been involved in low-budget independent European film, such as the Dutch-made Shadows of Blood starring Paul Naschy.
He is frequently credited as Lord Sydney Ling (a.k.a. His Illustrious Highness The Princely Count and Lord Sydney of the Rosielle and Klipping families), a generally unrecognised title granted by the Imperial College of Princes and Counts of the Holy Roman Empire, an organisation asserting the reestablishment of the titles of the Holy Roman Empire.
