The result of the debate was no consensus to merge, defaulting to leave as is --Arnzy (talk • contribs) 00:48, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose - There's no need to merge in Swiss European. It's a regional subsidiary, like Comair for Delta or American Eagle for American. Dbinder (talk) 02:18, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Ultra Strong Support It is a subsidiary fully owned by Swiss. It uses Swiss aircraft. It does not have a seperate CEO. It has a different ICAO code but it has the same IATA code. Unlike American Eagle at least one of the ICAO and IATA codes is equivalent to that of Swiss International Airlines. It has the same aircraft livery like Swiss. It does not even have a seperate website and not even an own section on Swiss's website. The luggage tags are the same. On the "fleet" section on the Swiss website all the planes are listed as part of Swiss. Swiss European airlines isn't even mentioned once as operating the Jumbolino's.(Avro RJ 85 or 100). The routes that SIAL flies are almost the same as those of SEAL. User:wwicki
[1])-"fleet" section on Swiss website.
- Oppose - Regional subsidiary, it should have its own page like any of the other "express" carriers. —Cliffb 07:08, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
