Swiss European Air Lines

Swiss European Air Lines is a subsidiary of the Swiss International Air Lines, operating as the latter on some of its nearby destinations. Swiss International Air Lines, which is better know as SWISS, is the successor of Swissair, following that company's grounding in 2001. Swiss currently belongs to Lufthansa and is a member of the Star Alliance group of Airlines.

On 26th September 2006, the pilots of Swiss European Air Lines went on a 24h warning strike, as the management had still not obeyed a court order from 2003 concerning equal pay for equal work.
