Akatombo is Paul Kirk an expatriate Scot living in Hiroshima. Paul used to run the Human Condition label and put out the first single by Idlewild. His debut album features Long Fin Killie bass player Colin Greig.

Cusp is one of the alter egos of techno musician/ producer Mark Gage (better known for his Vapourspace project. The Cusp album was originally released on Probe a sub label of Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label.

dol-lop is Yoshio Maeda an instrumental hip hop producer from Tokyo who now runs Sound Channel. He made his European DJ debut in Dublin at the age of 19 in support of Immersion's installation.

Ronnie & Clyde were breakbeat artists John Ross and Rob Fitzpatrick from London. Rumour has it that their debut 12" allegedly contained a stoned rap from Sly Stone, a later track had a riff that sounded uncannily like a heavy rock band named after a dirigible. Rob is now a music journalist and is married to food writer/ presenter Silvana Franco.

Spigel * Newman * Colin * Malka is a working alias for Malka Spigel & Colin Newman operating outside the framework of their Immersion project. Their only album was recorded Live in the studio after a European tour with Ronnie & Clyde and only released on limited edition CDR. The uncredited "encore" is a cover versio of Wire's Outdoor Miner.

Symptoms is Copenhagen based Klaus Ammitzbøll brother of Silo's Fred. He has toured with the Danish band Mew as well as Silo and Lobe. Album sleeves have been co-designed with Jonas Bjerre from Mew and his newest (as yet unreleased) work features Mew's Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen. Klaus also releases on his own Symptoms label.
