Swardeston
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Swardeston is a village (population 540 ) four miles south of Norwich in Norfolk, England, on high ground above the Tas valley.
It is the birth place of Edith Cavell, whose father, the Reverend Frederick Cavell, was Vicar for 45 years.
Its church, dedicated to St Mary the Virgin, has a 15th century tower, but two arched windows indicate that its origins are Saxon and Norman.
