Swadheen Kshatriya, an Indian Administrative Service officer, was the general manager of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking, the public company in Mumbai, responsible for public transport in the city. Under his management, the corporation reduced its losses by 99.7%, from Rs 1,750 million to Rs 5 million.

He was born on January 26, India's Republic Day.
