Suzanne is iconic within the Blender community. Many tongue-in-cheek artworks have been created with Suzanne in mind. "She" is a kind of mascot to most Blender users. As the Blender community expands, it is important that people see the history of this element. This article has already been referenced for its history section from here. • I was just about to say what was said above. This primitive is like the utah teapot or luxo to pixar or mickey to the mouse Co. There's citable source and notable. Part of the importance of this artical is in refrance to the "Suzanne Awards", Handed out anually to the best bender model/animation. Prehaps what is need is an article on the Suzanne Awards to give a beter understanding of its importance. - Alabandit 14:05, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
