Sutton Valence School is an independent school near Maidstone, Kent, UK. It contains around 540 pupils. It has an excellent reputation for sport, music, art, drama, as well as superb academic results in GCSEs and A-Levels[citation needed]. It is a co-educational school with a boarding option (approximately 1/3 of its pupils board).

Founded in 1576 by William Lambe, Master of the Clothworkers', and a member of the Chapel Royal of Henry VIII. It remained under the control of the Clothworkers' Company until 1910 when it was taken under the control of an educational trust.

Its famous pupils include the runner Sydney Wooderson, painter Terence Cuneo, conductor Sir Charles Groves, and BBC journalist Ben Brown.
