Sutton, Dublin

Sutton (Irish: Cill Fhionntáin - Fintan's cell) is a residential suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It is located about 12 kilometres from the city centre at the base of the Howth peninsula. At the centre of Sutton is a tombolo which connects Howth to the mainland (Howth used to be an island). Sutton is surrounded by many beaches and is a popular place for golf and dinghy sailing. It is easily accessible from Dublin using the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) suburban rail system and the Dublin Bus routes which include the 31, 31B and 31C
